Ultimate Beef Nachos Supreme Recipe: Easy, Cheesy, and Loaded with Flavor!

Looking for the perfect party snack or game day treat? These Ultimate Beef Nachos Supreme are a crowd-pleaser, packed with savory ground beef, melted cheese, and fresh toppings. This easy-to-follow recipe is perfect for entertaining or a cozy night in. With layers of crispy tortilla chips, seasoned beef, and gooey cheese, every bite is a flavor explosion!

Ingredients:

  • Taco Seasoning (or 1 packet store-bought taco seasoning)
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1/2 yellow onion, diced
  • 2 bags tortilla chips (16 ounces each)
  • 1 can refried beans
  • 16 ounces shredded cheese (cheddar or Monterey Jack)
  • 3 Roma tomatoes, diced
  • 2-3 green onions, sliced

Preparation:

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

In a large skillet, brown the ground beef and diced onions over medium-high heat until fully cooked (about 8 minutes). Drain excess fat.

Return the beef to the skillet and sprinkle with taco seasoning. Stir in 3/4 cup water, bring to a simmer, and cook until the liquid mostly evaporates (about 5 minutes).

Line two baking sheets with parchment paper and spread a generous layer of tortilla chips on each. Spoon refried beans and seasoned beef evenly over the chips. Top with shredded cheese.

Bake at 400°F for 15 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

Remove from the oven and sprinkle with diced tomatoes and green onions. Serve immediately and enjoy!

Recipe Notes:

For the best results, use thick, sturdy tortilla chips like Kirkland organic chips from Costco. If serving a smaller crowd, halve the recipe by adjusting the servings on the recipe card.
