Ingredients

  • 2 large eggs

  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 2 cups apples, peeled, cored, diced (approx. 2 medium apples)
  • Cinnamon Sugar Topping:
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Instructions

Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9×9-inch baking pan.

In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Set aside.

In a large bowl, cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in eggs one at a time, then stir in vanilla.

Alternate adding dry ingredients and sour cream to wet mixture, starting and ending with dry. Mix until just combined. Fold in diced apples.
