- Dip: 1/2 pound mayonnaise, 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder, 1 tablespoon lemon juice (50% concentration).
Preparation
- Prepare the Potatoes: Slice the potatoes into 1/2-inch thick pieces.
- Wet Mixture: In a bowl, whisk together the beaten egg and milk.
- Dry Mixture: In another bowl, combine all the dry ingredients (flour, cornstarch, salt, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, thyme, black pepper, cayenne).
- Coat the Potatoes: Dip each potato slice into the wet mixture, then coat evenly with the dry mixture. Shake off any excess and set aside. Repeat with all potato slices. Let them sit for 10 minutes.
