Ingredients:

  • Icing:
    • 200g powdered sugar – For a sweet, smooth glaze.
    • 50g softened butter – Adds richness to the icing.
    • 100g cream cheese (Saint Moret or similar) – Provides a tangy, creamy texture.
    • 1 tsp vanilla extract – Enhances the overall flavor.

Preparation:

Start by preparing the dough. If using a bread machine, add the lukewarm milk, eggs, sugar, melted butter, and flour. Top with the yeast and run the dough program. For hand preparation, dissolve the yeast in lukewarm milk and sugar. In a large bowl, combine the flour, create a well, and add the eggs one by one. Incorporate the milk mixture and melted butter, then knead until a smooth ball forms. Cover and let rise for 1 hour in a warm place (e.g., an off oven with a bowl of boiling water inside).
